Let me start off saying, I apologize for not blogging faithfully. I've
dropped the ball and will try to be better. It's been an interesting three
weeks. I think we've seen over 150-200 people saved for the month of
January.
WE were in Corpus Christi with a conference called Hot Hearts. God did some
really cool things. I spoke in several schools that week. One in
particular was West Oso High School. 500 students - diverse backgrounds,
divorced homes
single parent homes. It was a powerful assembly. I know several students
came from that school and heard the rest of my story and were saved. Hot
Hearts is a youth event but on Friday a 40 year old mom gave her life to
Christ.
We finished there and started at Everyday church in Schertz, TX. We saw 30
saved on Sunday morning. Sunday night we had a decent crowd and the weather
began to turn very cold. Then the ice hit. I've lived in San Antonio for
over 30 years
and I've never seen it this bad. It shut down highways and interstates and
every school in San Antonio and surrounding areas. Needless to say the
church shut down, but I did get to be at home. It cleared up by Thursday.
we left Friday
for Arkansas, Mount Carmel Baptist Church, a church really doing some right
things. We saw God fall Friday, Saturday, and Sunday morning. I was able
to be at home for the next four or five days to play Mr. Mom. Debbie got
her cast off,
her foot is healing. We ran errands, watched our grandkids. I was able to
have my third service at my church, Community Bible. It's starting off slow
but I feel like it's going to grow. The worship is incredible. We are
digging into the
book of Proverbs. We are now in Troy, Missouri at First Baptist Church. We
are seeing God do some incredible things! Would you continue to pray for
our
Thursday night services in San Antonio, that they'll grow. We are heading
to Toronto. Pray that God will use us there and in the days ahead. As we
start this year out in '07 I'm praying for 12,000 to be saved this year in
our ministry.
It'll be 1000 a month, we aren't going to be even close to that this month,
pray that God will open up bigger doors this year. I really want to see the
church stirred and for God just to fall on what we do. Would you be praying
for us
as we have an opportunity to go to Malachi, Hawaii. I know that sounds like
a vacation, but we will be working and ministering. The pastors name is
Randy Mandley. He's getting me in the schools there, trying to get several
churches together
to touch and island for Jesus. We appreciate and covet your guys' prayers,
and thank you for just checking out our website. Live for Jesus, keep your
eyes on him. We'll talk to you in a few days.
